Invoice flow
Create an invoice with a unique idempotency key, redirect the customer to hosted checkout and store the BitPayPal invoice ID alongside the platform order.
Payment verification
Use the server-side invoice status and verified webhook event. Never mark an order paid because a browser returned to your success URL.
Webhook security
Verify the HMAC signature, timestamp and event ID, then persist processed event IDs to prevent replay.
Test mode
Use the merchant Integration Test Center to send a signed simulated event. Test mode never broadcasts cryptocurrency or authorizes a real order fulfillment.
Integration model
This package contains platform-facing integration code for the target platform. Validate the exact target platform version and run the supplied test contract in staging before production activation.

Detailed installation
- Confirm the target is 4.70+ and that the server meets the platform requirements.
- Create a dedicated BitPayPal API key with only the scopes required for invoice creation and webhook reconciliation.
- Copy the plugin into the Plugins directory, run the application/plugin migration, restart nopCommerce and configure the payment method in the admin panel.
- Connect the platform integration point: Plugins/Payments.BitPayPal.
- Configure BitPayPal base URL, API key, asset, wallet/invoice settings and the webhook secret in the platform administration area.
- Set the webhook URL to the endpoint provided by the package and enable HTTPS.
- Create a test invoice, verify the signed webhook, then enable the integration for live orders.
- For production, reconcile by invoice ID, immutable order ID, asset and amount; never trust a browser return URL as payment proof.
Self-installable BitPayPal package. Configure credentials in the target platform, run the included staging contract, then enable live checkout. No marketplace installation is required.
