FAQ
Find answers about supported payment flows, invoices, provider consensus, webhooks, refunds, integrations and merchant security.
Is BitPayPal custodial?
No. The ordinary receiving model uses public wallet material and derives payment addresses without requiring merchant private keys.
How is a payment confirmed?
BitPayPal observes configured blockchain providers, applies the asset confirmation policy and exposes payment state through the API and signed webhooks.
Can I use multiple webhook endpoints?
Yes. Merchant webhook endpoints can subscribe to selected event types and each delivery carries an event ID, timestamp and signature.
Does a browser redirect prove payment?
No. A merchant should treat the server-side invoice state and verified webhook as authoritative.
Can BitPayPal automatically refund a payment?
The current non-custodial refund workflow creates a claim and audit record; signing and broadcasting the refund transaction remains with the merchant or an external signer.
Are all 31 integrations native plugins?
No. The public catalog distinguishes platform-facing packages from adapters/SDKs where the platform requires approval, proprietary APIs or a separate development environment.
